Features

GRIPTEC Paste is formulated to provide reliable grip and control in challenging playing conditions. Its hydrophobic ingredients help repel water and reduce product wear, making it suitable for wet, hot, sweaty, humid and dewy conditions.

The fine-particle grit in the paste activates with moisture. Combined with the paste’s stiction, this creates high friction to help athletes maintain a secure grip and improve control during play.

Why Choose GRIPTEC?

• Long-Lasting Performance: Designed to provide greater durability compared with many competing grip products.
• Efficient and More Environmentally Friendly: The paste format offers an efficient alternative to sprays, which typically contain around 40–60% solvent and propellant.
• Comfortable on Hands: Developed to provide grip without relying solely on excessive tackiness, helping avoid the gluggy or uncomfortable feel associated with some competing products.
• Controlled Tack: Provides a subtle tack that helps athletes maintain control while still allowing them to easily release and pass the ball.
• Professional Development: Developed over two years of research and development in collaboration with New Zealand Super Rugby teams.

Trusted by Professional Teams

GRIPTEC has been developed with professional rugby in mind and is now used by professional rugby teams across New Zealand, including the national side. It is also used by the NRL team The Warriors and the national rugby league side.
